Reiki is a complementary therapy whereby the practitioner places his or her hands on the client and allows Reiki, the Japanese word meaning universal life force energy, to flow through the practitioner and into the client.  It can be used for relaxation and stress/anxiety reduction or in combination with other types of therapy to help the client move towards a more healed and balanced state.
 
Carrie also teaches Reiki and offers Reiki attunement classes.  Classes are small, lasting usually two days for three hours each day.  Carrie finds this intimate teaching style most conducive to learning this ancient, yet timeless healing practice.
